Sequim, WA: Michael Trebert Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, along with Jack Grennan American Legion Post 62, will pay tribute to Vietnam War Veterans on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The event will take place at 107 East Prairie Street, in Sequim, the Jack Grennan American Legion. This occasion aims to honor the service, courage, and sacrifices of Vietnam veterans and their families. The guest speaker, Daniel Abbott, Gunnery Sergeant E-7 of the United States Marine Corps from Post 62 in Sequim, will convey gratitude to those who have faced the challenges of war and will express appreciation for the veterans and their families during this brief ceremony.

Lapel Pins for those who have yet to receive this recognition. All Vietnam
Veterans will be greeted with a heartfelt “Welcome Home” and the
sincere gratitude of a thankful Nation.
Michael Trebert DAR has proudly partnered with the Department of Defense (DoD) Commemorative Partner program since 2020, distributing over 350 pins to Vietnam Veterans across the county at 11 different locations over the past five years. This initiative aims to help a grateful nation express its appreciation and honor Vietnam veterans and their families. Since 2012, a remarkable 4.1 million veterans have been acknowledged at more than 28,000 events nationwide.
Nancy Zimmermann, Commander of Post 62 and a Veteran US Army Sergeant, emphasizes, “our dedicated Welcome Home efforts will soon be embraced by all Americans, encouraging everyone to thank a Vietnam veteran!”
The community is warmly invited to participate in honoring all Vietnam Veterans on National Vietnam War Veterans Day, March 29, recognizing their service and sacrifices for the United States.
