SEATTLE (AP) — A man was arrested following a standoff with police at a Subway restaurant in Seattle.
Police were called around 4:45 p.m. Monday to a domestic violence situation at a car wash.
Authorities say the man ran into a nearby pizza restaurant as deputies arrived, then into the Subway.
The suspect had two knives and charged at deputies when they arrived. Even after deputies Tazed the suspect several times, he was able to barricade himself in a back room.
Eventually SWAT team members were able to break down the doors and capture the suspect.
The man was arrested and taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of a bite wound in his leg from a confrontation with a police dog.
