PORT ANGELES – A public memorial service is set for Saturday for a former mayor of Port Angeles who died unexpectedly earlier this year.

Dan Di Guilio had recently retired to Florida, when he died of a sudden heart attack January 30^th. He was 68.

This Saturday the Port Angeles community is invited to attend a memorial for Di Guilio at the Vern Burton Center beginning at 1 pm.

Di Guilio served eight years on the Port Angeles city council from 2007-2015 and was elected mayor during that tenure.

Prior to that, he was a long time manager of the Clallam Transit System.
