These fraudulent sites mimic the official JOANN website, complete with logos and images, offering merchandise at steep discounts of 80-90%, according to the Better Business Bureau.

The situation has escalated so much that JOANN Fabrics posted a notice on its website.

To avoid falling victim to these scams, the BBB advises consumers to confirm the website’s URL, avoid clicking on ad links, be wary of deals that sound too good to be true, and use credit cards for online purchases.
