Port Angeles – The Winter Ice Village, presented by the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce, begins its 7th season on Friday, November 22 and will run from noon-9:00pm daily until January 6.

And new this year; Senior Sessions! Senior ice time, for those aged 50-or-better only, will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:00–Noon, starting this coming Monday, November 25 through December 20.

If you’re not a skater, that’s okay. Admission is free to come down and have a hot chocolate and a snack and watch the fun.

Prices to skate this year are as follows; for kids aged 3–12 it’s $10, 13–19 is $15, and 20 and up is $20. Seniors and active military pay $10. And if you bring your own skates, take $3 off.

Your skate admission is valid all day until closing on the day of purchase.

As always, you must sign a waiver before you can skate, but just once for the whole season. Sign your waiver now online at wintericevillage.com, or do it when you get to the Ice Village. All skaters must sign a waiver for this season. Ages 3 to 17 must have an adult sign the waiver on their behalf.

And remember, the Winter Ice Village runs on volunteer power. Help out in the Snack Shack, the Ticket Shed, Skate Rental, or on the ice as a Safety Monitor. You’ll earn a skate ticket for every shift you work that you can use yourself or gift to someone else.

And for you clubs and local businesses, contact the Chamber about volunteer takeover days.

The 7th Annual Winter Ice Village opens Friday at 121 W. Front Street in downtown Port Angeles.
