PORT ANGELES – With the recently-announced retirement of Jon Picker, the Port of Port Angeles is seeking resumes for a new Airport Manager.

Picker told KONP in an email that the timing was right to retire with all the major airport projects complete and the Taxiway rehab project in the summer of 2025 on track. He said the FAA certified all of Fairchild International Airport’s upgraded instrument approach systems on Wednesday, “so the airport is firing on all cylinders again and ready for the summer.”
