SEQUIM – There are 7 Sequim residents who got their applications in by the Friday, March 22 deadline to fill the City Council seat left open with the recent resignation of councilman Tom Ferrell.

Those candidates are: Kelly Burger, Ronald Fairclough, Alex Fane, Nicole Hartman, Jean Janis, William Stone and John Worthington. (Click here to read their applications.)

Councilors were asked to submit a list of questions they would like to use during the upcoming candidate interview process, and at Monday night’s City Council meeting (March 25) they’ll narrow those down to 10 questions.

Councilors will also decide Monday night whether to conduct those interviews at the regular council meeting, or to conduct the interviews at a work session prior to the April 8 meeting.
