
SEQUIM — It was “Senior Night” at Sequim for the Wolves soccer team, and it’s no surprise their two All-Olympic League seniors led the way as Sequim again dominated Bremerton 6-0. Taryn Johnson and Jenny Gomez both scored two goals and added an assist.
Kaia Lestage scored the other goal. The 6th goal came from the Knights kicking the ball into their own net. The Wolves travel to Kingston tomorrow night and then will find out Sunday when, where and who they will face in the district tournament.

In volleyball action, Sequim swept Bremerton 3-0 to go 9-5 on the season. The Roughriders were swept by Bainbridge 3-0. The Roughriders are 3-10 on the season.

It’s a big day at the Shore Aquatic Center as 8 schools will participate in diving and swimming. Joining the Roughriders and the Wolves will be: Klahowya, Bainbridge, Bremerton, Kingston, North Kitsap and Olympic. The diving competition will start at Noon and the Swimming events start at 3 pm. This is the last home meet for Sally Cole’s Roughriders.

The district tennis tournament runs this Friday and Saturday in Bremerton.
Nathan Basden and Mathew Miller will pair up as doubles partners at the district tournament Friday in Bremerton
