SEQUIM – The Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday their winner for 2021 Citizen of the Year is Jean Wyatt.

Wyatt has served on the Board of Directors of the Sequim­Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Directors of the Irrigation Festival. Wyatt was also involved in the formation of the Sequim Humanities and Arts Alliance and Innovative Arts and Crafts Fair.

The two other nominees for the honor were Phil Castell, owner of Castell Insurance, and Lorri Gilchrist, President of Sequim Schools Alumni Association, and contributor to the Sequim Gazette.

The winner was announced at Tuesday’s Citizen of the Year Luncheon at 7 Cedars Resort.
