VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — An 18-year-old man is facing a murder charge after he allegedly drove into a skateboarder in a Vancouver parking lot and killed him.

Joshua Jones was booked in Clark County Jail Wednesday. Vancouver police said they found a 45-year-old man trapped under a car Wednesday afternoon in a shopping complex parking lot.

Police said the man had been skateboarding when he approached Jones’ vehicle and punched the window. Police said witnesses reported Jones made a U-turn in his car and drove toward the man, and didn’t brake until after he had struck him.
