SEQUIM — The 24th Annual Kids’ Fishing Day in Sequim is coming up this Saturday, April 19, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Water Reuse Demonstration Pond on the north side of Carrie Blake Park.
This event is for all kids 14 and under, as long as they’re accompanied by an adult.
No fishing license is required.
Kids are allowed to keep two fish each.
Worms and power bait will be available, and a fish cleaning station will be provided.
The event is sponsored by the North Olympic Peninsula Chapter of Puget Sound Anglers, the City of Sequim, and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
