SEQUIM — A masked man armed with pepper spray robbed Kitsap Bank in Sequim on Wednesday afternoon and remains at large, according to police.
Sequim Police say the suspect entered the branch on West Washington Street around 3:30 p.m., demanded money from a teller, and sprayed the inside of the bank before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Officers believe the man may have entered a nearby vehicle. Despite a search involving local police, sheriff’s deputies, and a canine unit, the suspect was not found.
No injuries were reported. The FBI is assisting in the ongoing investigation.
