PORT ANGELES — After a damp and cool weekend, Olympic Peninsula residents can look forward to a gradual warm-up in the coming days.
According to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle, a high-pressure ridge will bring rising temperatures, with some of the warmest days expected early next week.
Saturday starts off on a cool note with a morning low of 38°F, warming up to 48°F in the afternoon. Sunday brings a slight improvement, with temperatures ranging from 39°F in the morning to 50°F later in the day.
The real warm-up begins Monday, as the afternoon high climbs to 52°F. By Tuesday, temperatures are expected to reach 60°F, marking one of the warmest days of the stretch. Wednesday continues the trend, with highs reaching 62°F.
As the week progresses, temperatures remain mild, with highs in the mid-to-upper 50s on Thursday and Friday. Forecasters say while some cloud cover and cooler mornings persist, the shift toward spring is becoming evident.
