UNDATED — Most high school sporting events were canceled yesterday due to the weather.

The one event that did take place was in Kingston, where the Sequim fastpitch team had a tough day, falling to the Buccaneers 26-1.

There’s baseball action today as Port Angeles hosts Nathan Hale at 4:15 p.m. Nathan Hale will stay overnight and face Sequim Saturday morning at 11:00.

In boys soccer tonight, Port Angeles hosts Bainbridge at 7:15, while Sequim travels to North Mason for a 7:00 kickoff.

There’s also tennis action this afternoon as Sequim travels to Olympic for a 4:00 start.

In a three-team track meet at Sequim High School, Wolves sophomore Clare Turella began her title defense in the high jump by placing first with a leap of 4 feet, 10 inches.
