PORT ANGELES – A magnitude 3.9 earthquake rattled an area southeast of Port Angeles on Wednesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

The quake struck at 4:18 PM PST and was centered about 19 miles southeast of Port Angeles.

While a quake of this size isn’t usually strong enough to cause damage, some residents in the area may have felt a shake. So far, there haven’t been any reports of injuries or structural issues.
