SEKIU – Both directions of State Route 112 between Neah Bay and Sekiu remain closed due to downed trees and slides. The closure area is between milepost 0 and 7.

Washington State Department of Transportation maintenances crews began the process of removing downed trees and debris after an engineering geologist evaluated the area.

There is no estimate when the highway will reopen due to the number of downed trees.
