PORT ANGELES – The Coast Guard Air Station Port Angeles will once again hold a Veterans Day ceremony on Monday.

This is the 24th year the station has been designated as a regional observance site by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

The public is invited to attend and may begin arriving at the gate at Ediz Hook at 9:45 a.m. Attendees should arrive early for security checks; only vehicles with valid government ID will be allowed entry. Walk-ons and weapons are prohibited. The ceremony will take place in an unheated hangar, so dressing warmly is advised. Following the event, refreshments will be served by the Clallam County Veterans Association.

Rear Adm. Charles Fosse, Coast Guard District Thirteen commander, will deliver the keynote address, with patriotic music by local choirs and bands.
