The duo will receive a first-round bye at districts. The doubles team of Austin Worthington and Keatyn Hoch also qualified, finishing fourth. In soccer, the Roughriders defeated Bremerton 3-1. Bremerton scored early at the 1-minute mark, but Kedryn DeScala tied it at the 6th minute, assisted by Sophia Ritchie. Lilly Anne Lancaster gave the Roughriders the lead at the 38th minute with a midfield steal and a powerful shot. Freshman Mariah Traband added an insurance goal in the 60th minute on a Brooke Pierce assist. The Roughriders now face a crucial game against Kingston on Tuesday night at Peninsula College.
