PORT ANGELES — In tennis action, Port Angeles swept North Mason 7-0.
In doubles, Austin Worthington and Keatyn Hoch won 6-1, 6-2. Carter Gunderson and Grant Butterworth won 6-0, 6-0. Zach Neff and Carston Siebel won 6-1, 6-0. Jenson Wolfe and Liam Miller won 6-0, 6-0.
In singles, the Bulldogs forfeited all three matches.
The Roughriders travel to Bremerton today with the first match at 4:00 p.m.

There was a big celebration at the Roughriders’ gymnasium last night as the volleyball team earned their first win of the year, sweeping Bremerton 3-0.
North Kitsap swept Sequim 3-1 in volleyball.

In soccer, the Port Angeles Roughriders improved to 4-2 with a 7-0 shutout of Bremerton. Kedryn DeScala started the scoring in the 22nd minute with an assist from Zoe Ernst. Pyper Alton scored in the 27th minute with an assist from Morgan Politika. Teanna Clark scored in the 37th minute with an assist from DeScala, and the Roughriders led 3-0 at halftime.
Clark scored her second goal with an assist from Stella Fradkin. Ava-Anne Sheahan then scored three goals in 11 minutes, getting an assist from Lilly Anne Lancaster on the final goal. The Roughriders outshot the Bulldogs 24-3.
The Sequim Wolves lost a heartbreaker to fifth-ranked North Kitsap 1-0. The Vikings didn’t score until the 72nd minute. Wolves goalie Kallie Grove had 13 saves.

There is an Olympic League cross-country meet today in Sequim with a 4:30 p.m. start.

In swimming, Port Angeles is at Bremerton with a 3:00 p.m. start, and Sequim is at North Kitsap with a 3:30 p.m. start.

In NWAC soccer, Peninsula will host Bellevue in a doubleheader. The women kick off at 2:00 p.m., and the men at 4:15 p.m.
