
PORT ANGELES – The City of Port Angeles has partnered with the Washington State Department of Commerce and Promise to distribute funds that help low- and moderate-income households pay their electricity bills.
The program is offering a one-time bill credit of $200 to eligible electric utility customers. Qualifying customers will have the $200 bill credit applied to their utility account by September 15.
How do you get it? The application process is fast and easy. You will need your electric utility account number, the number of people living in your household, and the total gross annual income for 2023 for all adults in your household.
After submitting your application, the Washington State Department of Commerce and Promise will send you a text message to let you know the results. The deadline to apply is September 1 (2 weeks from now).
