PORT ANGELES – The public can now charge their electric vehicles at the Clallam County Courthouse in Port Angeles.

The county has completed setting up a new electric vehicle charging station at the courthouse parking lot. Funded by a $68,000 state grant received in 2022, the project wrapped up construction in April and is now approved for public use.

The station, located at the southwest corner, is available for public use 24/7 and can charge six vehicles at once, accommodating most makes and models. The cost is $0.38 per kilowatt-hour.
