SHINE – Overnight travelers on the Hood Canal Bridge take note: overnight closures will resume on Tuesday, July 9.

After several weeks of closure cancellations, WSDOT officials announced Friday that the bridge will close at 10 p.m. each night Tuesday, July 9 through (and including) Thursday, July 11. Crews will work on the new shock absorbers on the south side of the bridge during this time.

Specifically, the Hood Canal Bridge overnight closures will be

• 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 10
• 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 to 5 a.m. Thursday, July 11
• 10 p.m. Thursday, July 11 to 5 a.m. Friday, July 12
