Join the City Parks & Recreation Department for a fun-filled celebration of the 2024 Port Angeles Day of Play on Saturday, July 13. This event, part of National Parks and Recreation Month, offers a variety of recreational activities for families and children of all ages, emphasizing the importance of recreation and community connection.

The event will feature live music, performances, sports fundamentals, and yard games, thanks to partnerships with local organizations. Children can participate in the “Kids Passport” program for a chance to win exciting prizes. Passports can be downloaded from the City website, picked up from the Parks & Recreation Office, or at any event location on the day.

Prizes include gift cards, memberships, rentals, and more. Stamped passports must be submitted to the Parks & Recreation Office by 5 p.m. on July 19, with winners announced on July 22.
