The average household in Port Angeles spends $2,250 per month, totaling $27,005 annually on the ten most common household expenses excluding food. This figure represents 41% of the average household income of $65,210. Despite being 6% higher than the national average of $2,126, Port Angeles household bills are 15% lower than the state average of $2,644.
The report details that Port Angeles residents pay an average of $1,260 per month on mortgage payments and $1,100 on rent. Other significant monthly expenses include $487 for auto loans, $732 for utilities, and $150 for health insurance. Additionally, households spend $284 on auto insurance, $153 on cable and internet, $231 on mobile phone services, $89 on alarm and security systems, and $37 on life insurance.
Port Angeles ranks as the 70th most expensive city in Washington for household bills, according to the report.
