SAPPHO, Wash. – We started hearing from Clallam County PUD at about 5:40 this morning that a lot of customers were without power in the west end in the Sappho area and points west. A notice on social media said there was a tree on BPA lines.

They said a BPA crew removed a tree and tried to re-energize, but it didn’t take, so they continued to patrol the lines looking for more faults.

By 11:40 they had everybody back on line after discovering three trees across the lines in different areas.
