SEQUIM – A deadline comes tomorrow for an annual honor in the Sequim area. But so far there are no nominees.
The Sequim Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual Citizen of Year. For the past few weeks, they’ve had applications opened for people to nominate worthy citizens.
The problem this year according to Chamber executive director Beth Pratt, she has yet to receive a single nomination.
The deadline to submit those nominations is tomorrow (Wednesday).
Pratt says she hopes a late flood of applications may come in. If you’d like to make a nomination, you can do that through the chamber’s website at sequimchamber.com.
