SEQUIM — City of Sequim Public Works crew members were unable to read residential and commercial utility meters for user consumption, due to snow and ice buildup on utility meters during the recent snowstorm.
For that reason, the City of Sequim February 1 utility bills will include base rates only and will not include consumption charges. The March 1 utility bills will include base rates and consumption charges for January and February.
City officials want customers to know that if the increased consumption charges in the March billing causes undue hardship, they ask that you contact the City of Sequim Finance office at (360) 683-4139 to discuss arrangements.
