PORT ANGELES – Port Angeles will continue with the same mayor for another term.

This week,  the city council elected Kate Dexter to continue on as mayor. She received all six votes of those voting last night.

Navarra Carr will serve as the deputy mayor. She received five votes after being nominated last night.

Under Port Angeles’ form of government, a sitting city council member is elected by the council to be mayor and deputy mayor.
