
DIAMOND POINT – The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday morning that the discovery of a deceased woman in a home in the Diamond Point area is being investigated as a suspicious death.
Munger said deputies were asked to do a welfare check at about 8:15PM on Thursday when they discovered the body.
Due to the suspicious nature of this death, the Washington State Patrol Crime Scene Response Team was called out and is currently processing the scene. Detectives with the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office are investigating this death with the assistance of detectives from the Sequim and Port Angeles Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Clallam County Coroner’s Office, and the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team.
The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team has been deployed to assist with searching for evidence.
