SEQUIM – A Port Hadlock man was airlifted from the scene of a roll over accident near Sequim Monday evening.

26-year-old Cole Roberts was hurt when the Ford Ranger pickup he was driving flipped while on the River Road exit of Highway 101.

According to a State Patrol memo, the pickup began to leave the road to the left, Roberts overcorrected causing the pickup to roll over a number of times. The crash blocked the River Road exit.

Roberts was not wearing a seatbelt. WSP says they are citing him for negligent driving
