PORT ANGELES – The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office reported on Facebook Wednesday that someone had stolen a tiny home that was mounted on a trailer platform.

Sometime between Monday and Tuesday, the bright red tiny home was taken from the 3000 block of Deer Park Road. The owners are out town, but their neighbors told deputies they noticed the house was missing, and tire tracks indicated it left north on Deer Park Road, toward the highway.

We later got confirmation from Chief Criminal Deputy Amy Bundy that the trailer has been recovered and is being stored in a secure location until the owners get back to town. Bundy would only say that it was found somewhere in Gales Addition, and we do not know if an arrest was made at the time of recovery.
