CARLSBORG, Wash. – Clallam PUD Commissioners interviewed their three final applicants Monday to fill the Board seat left vacant when Rick Paschall resigned from his seat at the end of February.

The applicants, John Purvis, Marc Sullivan and Nathan Adkisson, were interviewed in a panel-style public format. The PUD’s Nicole Hartman says the commissioners then went into a closed executive session, where they agreed to postpone making a final decision until next week.

“They did. They met in executive session after the panel interview of the three candidates, and then they wanted to take some time to think about the interview, because it went on for about 90 minutes. And so, they plan to return to discuss qualifications in an executive session as part of the regular meeting on Monday, and then come out of that and, hopefully, make a decision.”

That meeting is scheduled for April 24 at 1:30 PM. This will be a hybrid meeting via Zoom. Go to clallampud.net to learn more.
