PORT ANGELES – A Port Angeles man was arrested on multiple drug charges Monday.

Yesterday, OPNET Detectives arrested 54-year-old Anthony C. Eacrett on multiple felony charges, including five counts of delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine and fentanyl), and four counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine.) The 5th count for delivery of a controlled substance stems from Eacrett mailing a methamphetamine-smoking device containing methamphetamine to a friend out of state.

The case began this past summer when detectives used a confidential informant to purchase fentanyl pills and methamphetamine from Eacrett on multiple occasions.

Yesterday, Eacrett was arrested in the parking lot of the Port Angeles Goodwill Store. Investigators say a search of Eacrett’s vehicle and possessions resulted in detectives seizing approximately 400 fentanyl pills, 50 grams of methamphetamine, 24 grams of heroin and 20 grams of cocaine, cash, and a digital scale.  The street value was pinned at about $8,200.00.

OPNET detectives then served a search warrant at Eacrett’s Port Angeles residence. There, detectives say they found another 4,000 fentanyl pills along with $1,500.00 in cash. Approximate street value of the drugs is $40,000.00.

In a press release, OPNET officials say they anticipate more arrests coming.
