CENTRALIA — The third-ranked Peninsula Pirates men had their seven-game win streak come to a halt, losing to the Centralia Blazers 86-84. The Blazers led at the half 49-33. The Pirates kept chipping away and finally tied the game up with a minute left 84-84 with. With 1.7 seconds left the Pirates were at the wrong end of a bad officials call and the Blazers hit 2 free throws for the win 86-84. Roosevelt Williams Jr. led the way with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Max D’Amato hit for 17 points.
