CLALLAM COUNTY – Laurie Davies, a member of the Clallam County Fair Board, announced Thursday that the 2023 Fair Theme Contest is now open.
The 2023 Fair Theme Contest is open to anybody living in Clallam County and there is no age limit. There is a $100.00 award, plus two fair day passes and two fair themed t-shirts.
Keep in mind that you cannot use Clallam County in the slogan. It should be seven words or less, and they’ll accept up to 10 entries per person.
The winner will be chosen on the basis of creativity, originality, fair appropriateness and ease of decoration and displaying the theme. The fair committee may revise if necessary.

Theme slogans of the past few years include this year’s Blue Ribbon Dreams in Boots & Jeans, Red White and Moo in 2019, Paws On Parade in 2018, and Poultry In Motion in 2017.
