JOYCE, WASH. – The Joyce Daze Wild Blackberry Festival is back again this summer. It will be held on Saturday, August 6, and everything you love about the small-town festival is happening.
They’ll still be serving the main attraction, those delicious blackberry pies made with local wild blackberries. Slices topped with ice cream will be on sale for as long as they last, too. As always, proceeds go towards scholarships and local projects.
Highlights of the festival will include a parade, kid’s activities, the arts and crafts show, vendor’s booths, demonstrations and live entertainment.
Joyce Daze kicks off at 7 a.m. with the pancake breakfast and goes until 3:30 p.m. Located just 14 miles west of Port Angeles on State Route 112, “Washington’s prettiest National Scenic Byway”.
Local bands will perform throughout the day in front of the Museum. The Slug Races, a fund raiser for the fire department, will happen after the parade, and the popular pie-baking contest is also back. Contest rules are on our website at joycedaze.org, or follow them on Facebook.
