PORT ANGELES – It was never easy, but coach Allison Crumb’s Peninsula Pirates won their sixth game in a row knocking off Olympic 67-64. Former Sequim Wolf Hope Glasser had another big game with twenty-two points and eleven rebounds. Former Roughrider Millie Long had thirteen points eight steals and four assists. Kelli-Jade Smith hit for ten points. The Pirates now 8-1 17-3 overall travel to Bellingham on Wednesday to take on first place Whatcom. The Orcas have a 9-0 conference record and a 16-1 overall record.

The Pirate men lost another tough game at home to Olympic 94-68. The Pirates trailed at the half 41-35 but were outscored by twenty points in the second half. Jaylin Reed led the way with twenty-two points, Michael Medlock, and Isaiah Sampson each hit for fourteen points. The Pirates now 5-4 in conference play and 13-8 overall travel to Whatcom on Wednesday.
