YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — A 15-year-old girl who was believed to have been kidnapped from Yakima and was the subject of an Amber alert last night was found in Nevada.

Yakima Police said a suspect vehicle was seen around 10 p.m. in Nevada and local authorities pulled the driver over. The missing teenager, Angeles Revuelta-Buenrostro, was found in the vehicle and safely recovered.

A 36-year-old male suspect she met on the internet was taken into custody.

The girl’s family says she took the garbage out from her Yakima home at about 11:20 a.m. and did not return, so they called police.
