PORT ANGELES – Two more positive cases of Covid-19 were reported Tuesday in Clallam County. That’s four new cases in the past two days, and eight cases in the last week. Clallam County has reached a total of 33 positive test results since testing began earlier this spring.

Health Officer Dr. Allison Berry Unthank says one of Tuesday’s cases is a household contact of a recent case – a woman in her 50’s who is now isolating at home. The other is a new case – a young man in his 20’s who acquired the virus out of state. He’s also isolating at home.

Twenty six of the cases have now fully recovered. There have been three cases that required a hospital stay.
