WAPATO, Wash. — An Amber Alert that was issued Monday night for a 3-year-old girl out of Yakima County was canceled Tuesday after the girl was found safe.

The Washington State Patrol said she was taken by her 32-year-old father Jose Lopez-Madrigal.

The Amber Alert was activated by the Wapato Police Department.

The suspect was taken into custody. Officials did not give details where the girl was found.
