OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK – On Monday June 1, Olympic National Park will open the following rivers to recreational fishing:

The Sol Duc, Gray Wolf, Dosewallips, Duckabush and the North Fork Skokomish. Lake Crescent and mountain lakes will also open, all as per normal fishing seasons and regulations.

The reopening is part of a phased approach by specific geographic area. Anglers are encouraged to practice responsible recreation and enjoy these outdoor activities if they can do so close to home, while also practicing physical distancing.

That said, there are still a lot of rivers not being opened to fishing.

The following areas within Olympic National Park will remain closed to fishing until further notice:

Updates are posted to the park website at nps.gov/olym/planyourvisit/fishing.htm.
