PORT ANGELES – The Clallam County Recovery Center in Port Angeles is now open seven days a week from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm but is also available for folks to use overnight if necessary.
The Shelter is designed to serve anyone who currently does not have a home to stay in, people who cannot maintain the six foot distancing recommendation in their home, and those who are showing symptoms of the virus or awaiting test results.
The Recovery Shelter is completely voluntary. Anyone who wishes to stay overnight is asked to arrive before 7:00 p.m. and call ahead if possible. No referral is needed to access the shelter’s services. Food and healthcare are provided.
Transportation to the Shelter is available through Serenity House or Clallam Transit’s bus route 26. The address is 2140 West 18th Street, adjacent to the airport.
