PORT ANGELES – In an effort to support social distancing, Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt directed the National Park Service to temporarily suspend all park entrance fees until further notice.
While Olympic National Park remains open to the public, many of its facilities are now closed due to virus concerns. They include the Olympic National Park Visitor Center & Wilderness Information Center in Port Angeles, the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center, and the Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center.
It should also be noted that Hurricane Ridge Road is closed beyond the Heart O’ the Hills entrance station.
Where it is possible to adhere to the latest health guidance, Olympic National Park’s entrances, hiking trails, and campgrounds will remain open. Park visitors are asked to purchase their park passes online.
Updates about the NPS response to the coronavirus will be posted on www.nps.gov/coronavirus. Please check with individual parks for specific details about park operations.
