PORT ANGELES – It’s decision day for some local school levy measures.
Port Angeles School District voters are weighing a five-year $52.6-million-dollar capital levy that would begin the process of upgrading Stevens Middle School.
Crescent School District has two levies. One is a continuation of the district’s operations levy. The other is a continuation of a capital levy for building improvements at the campus in Joyce.
Through yesterday, just under 38 percent of the vote in Clallam County had been returned. That’s about 9,400 of the nearly 25,000 ballots sent out. Voters must have ballots postmarked or back in an official drop box by 8 tonight to be valid.
