Police have identified the Port Angeles man whose body was found in Peabody Creek on Christmas Eve as 60-year-old Monty Robuck.
Police Detective Jeff Ordona says the body was discovered by a family taking a walk.
“I responded and was able to identify the deceased as a Monty Robuck. We checked the scene, did photographs. We’re familiar with Mr. Robuck. He was known to live with his mother and the fact that he was down there was suspicious, although there was no immediate, obvious signs of trauma. So it is something that were investigating further as a suspicious death and we’ve got some leads that we’re working on this morning.”
The body was reported at about 4:00 pm Tuesday in the ravine near Park Avenue.
