PORT ANGELES – City of Port Angeles crews hope to have a broken water main fixed today that has caused issues for hundreds of residents on the east side of the city.

Yesterday afternoon, a 20-inch water main broke in the Golf Course Road area. That’s reduced water pressure and affected water use for businesses and residents from Rook Road to Mount Pleasant Road mostly south of First Street and Highway 101.

The city says it could take until 10 tonight to finish the fix.

There will be flaggers and traffic control all day on Golf Course Road between Woodhaven Drive and Lindberg Road.
