PORT ANGELES – The Department of Licensing at Armory Square in Port Angeles reopened Thursday morning after being closed for a week due to air quality issues.
DOL spokesman Rob Wieman told us the office closed on Wednesday, August 28 because of bad odors. After CO2 tests came up negative, he says the problem was solved by adding air scrubbers and getting the landlord to clean the roof.
Wieman added that the office will be closed again on Saturday, September 14 while they install new floors. The closest DOL office open on that day will be the one in Poulsbo.
