POST FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Authorities say a body was found Monday in the Spokane River at Post Falls, Idaho.
The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office says their diving team along with firefighters and police were sent to the river at about 12:20 p.m. Monday near Greensferry Bay.
Dive team members recovered the body from the water, but
because it appears the body had been in the water for an extended amount of time no identification or cause of death could immediately be made.
Sheriff’s detectives and Post Falls police are investigating.
