SEATTLE (AP) — Police say a woman was stabbed in South Seattle and that a teenager suspected of stabbing her was found dead nearby in Lake Washington.
The Seattle Police Department said on Twitter that officers responded to the stabbing at about noon Monday and that one person was injured.
Police said officers were searching for a suspect and at about 1:45 p.m. said the person had been found dead in the lake.
KOMO-TV is reporting the woman was attacked by her teenage grandson.
Detective Mark Jamieson says police are working to recover the teen’s body. It wasn’t clear how he died.
