PORT ANGELES – There are three seats up for grabs on the Port Angeles City Council in the coming election, and that means we’ll be seeing some fresh faces in Council Chambers at the end of the year.
Charlie McCaughan is so far running unopposed for Position #5, which is being vacated by Michael Merideth. McCaughan works for Clallam County PUD as the Procurement and Facilities Supervisor, and plans to retire in a few years. He also worked for five years in the City of Port Angeles Public Works Dept. We asked him why he’s running for Council.
